Ayrshire Equitation Centre has something to suit everyone, young or old, whether you prefer hacking or wish to train in a specific discipline - our team of friendly qualified instructors can cater to your individual needs.
The beautiful Ayrshire countryside has endless leisure riding opportunities. We can offer treks and hacks ranging from 1 hour to 2 1/2 hours rides.
Firstly the Centre has a purpose built mile long all weather track adjacent to the Centre. This provides the perfect opportunity for shorter hacks and for safe 'off-road' riding for the beginning rider.
Two very popular tracks are Rozelle Park and the 'Old Railway'. These two hacking areas are purpose built and well maintained. Our most exhilarating ride is undoubtedly a 'hack to the beach' - this is a must for anyone visiting the area. Ayr offers 5 miles of open flat sandy beaches, where horse and rider can each experience the ultimate riding experience.

The Centre prides itself on the standard of tuition it can offer in each discipline. With a full size all weather menage, outdoor school, cross country training course, full set of show jumps and mobile x-country fences - we have all the facilities to improve you in whatever area you choose.
Whatever the standard of your riding, we can offer private or group tuition on flatwork, dressage, show jumping or cross country. We have a team of highly experienced staff, whose friendly approach motivates riders to gain the most from their initial lessons. Once these first steps have been taken, riders can consolidate and build on their success in individual private lessons or they can choose to join one of the many group lessons at a suitable level for them.
All sessions are structured to allow all individual riders to make progress and to enable them to discuss their needs and objectives with their instructor. The Centre itself offers many opportunities for those with their own horse, or those hiring to improve the effectiveness of their riding.

Birthday Parties
Using the facilities on site, we can provide you with a room to host the birthday boy or girls party. We will provide a hack out for all the children coming along and a birthday rosette for everyone to take away after their experience. The birthday boy/girl will also receive a special birthday rosette for them to remember their party by.
Birthday party packages can be created to individual needs, prices start from £12 per head.
Corporate Days
These days are growing ever popular. Come along with your workmates and try horse riding. No experience necessary, we can tailor your package to suit.
Example 1:
Absolute Beginners Day - Arrive am and have a half hour taster lesson followed by a short hack down our safe, purpose built track. Lunch at our cosy local Village Pub. Back to the Centre for a one and a half hour hack - to ensure that everyone leaves, feeling a sense of achievement, exhilaration and aching muscles!
Example 2:
Half Day For The Daring - Arrive am, everyone issued horse according to ability. Leave centre heading for Ayr .Gallop along miles of flat sandy beach and enjoy the long hack home through beautiful countryside. Arriving at the centre we can have late lunch reservations at a variety of pubs or restaurants where you can analyse the mornings ride and rest those aching limbs!
